• Email list: your email address, the form you signed up from (for example “Notify me” or a vote for a character), the language of the page and, where relevant, the product and colour you are waiting for.
• Technical data: our host records technical logs (IP address, pages requested) to run and secure the site.

• Writing to you about a release or availability: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Keeping the site secure: legitimate interest.

Your data is never sold or transferred. It is shared only with:

• Vercel Inc. (United States), which hosts the site;
• the service that receives our sign-up forms.

Where data is processed outside the European Union, the transfer is covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR.

• Email list: until you unsubscribe, and at most three years after our last exchange.
• Technical logs: the limited period set by the host.
• Language cookie (bt-lang): one year.

This site uses no advertising cookies and no audience measurement. It sets a single cookie, bt-lang, when you choose a language (with the FR/EN switch or the “Voir en français” banner): it remembers that choice for one year and does nothing else. Because it only serves to show the site in the language you chose, it does not require your consent.

To install like an app and work offline, the site also keeps a copy of some pages in your browser; that copy is not used to track you. Stripe's payment pages apply their own policy.

You can access, correct or erase your data, restrict or object to its processing, ask for it to be ported and withdraw your consent, by writing to contact@bambootails.com. To leave the email list, just write to us. We reply within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
